At Ceimayá, we take great pride in carrying an authentic Made in Mexico seal, reflecting the quality, passion, and talent of Mexican women entrepreneurs.

Yesterday, our founder, Leticia Rosales, had the opportunity to share Ceimayá’s export project — along with its challenges and lessons learned — during a dialogue with key actors involved in building gender-responsive free trade agreements among the countries of the GTAGA.

As Leticia shared in her LinkedIn post, dialogue is essential to effectively and assertively shape agreements that are adapted to the realities of each region and that promote international trade led by women. During the event, various countries presented their actions toward including gender clauses in their free trade agreements.

Dr. Amrita Bahri also shared key findings from her research, highlighting the urgent need for enforceable mechanisms to support these clauses. She pointed out the disconnect between existing trade barriers and the proposed solutions, and emphasized that while treaty language appears similar across developed and developing economies, the real experiences of women in these economies are vastly different.

Finally, women entrepreneurs from Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia shared their insights, challenges, and needs on the path to exportation.

This gathering was not only a space for sisterhood, but also for knowledge sharing and mutual recognition of the work being done by women who are breaking barriers in global trade.

At Ceimayá, we believe every jar of our honey carries more than flavor — it carries the pride of being a Mexican product with the vision to conquer the world with quality, authenticity, and passion. 🌎🍯
