Ingredients:
250 ml of water
250 ml ml of extra virgin olive oil
50 g caustic soda
75 ml of almond oil
75 ml of coconut oil
4 teaspoons of honey
Put the olive oil, almond oil and coconut oil in a saucepan and heat over low heat. Mix the soda with the water very carefully. Caustic soda is a very aggressive product so do not forget to wear gloves and a mask when handling it. When the soda has dissolved completely and the oils are hot and integrated, turn off the heat and pour the soda little by little into the oil mixture. When you have all the soda in the saucepan of oils, beat everything with the help of the mixer at low speed. As you beat and the honey soap ingredients integrate, you can increase the speed to medium. You should beat until you obtain a smooth cream. Now it is time to add the honey. Mix it all together and when you have the final solution, pour it into the molds. You can use either specific molds for soaps or a single glass mold and cut the pieces yourself once they are hard. If you use a glass mold you should use kitchen paper to remove the soap. Now you should leave the molds in a cool and ventilated place for the honey soap to harden, between 15 and 30 days. Probably after 48 hours the soap will be hard enough to remove it from the mold but you will not be able to use it until after 15-30 days.
