You have to try this delicious caramelized cream with honey from Tsitsilché!

Perfect to share with the family…

 

Ingredients:

– 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh thyme

– 4 tablespoons of Ceimayá Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom

– 1 bunch of small colored carrots

– 1 tablespoon of olive oil

– 3 tablespoons butter

– 3 cups chicken broth

– 7 chopped carrots

– 1 chopped garlic clove

– 1/2 onion, chopped

Preparation:

Heat a pot over high heat. Add butter and sauté onion, garlic and chopped carrot. After 8 minutes, add the Ceimayá Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom and cook until slightly dark. Add the chicken broth and thyme. Cook for 25 minutes, or until the carrots are very soft. Blend to a very smooth consistency, strain through a fine sieve and keep this cream of carrot warm. In another pan, sauté the baby carrots with the olive oil over medium heat, season with salt and pepper and serve some in each soup bowl. Finally, serve the cream of carrot on each plate and enjoy.
