We recommend this delicious and healthy recipe with Desert Honey: Kidneywood Blossom honey!

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 500 g (1/2 lb) approx. of Brussels sprouts.
  • 4 tablespoons of Ceimayá Desert Honey: Kidneywood Blossom
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 100 g (3oz)  of diced bacon
  • 2 tbsp of French mustard
  • Fine salt
  • Maldon sal

Preparation:

Clean the Brussels sprouts by removing some leaves and cut in half. Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the brussel sprouts and heat for 6-10 min until slightly tender. Drain. Sauté the sprouts, bacon and olive oil in a sauté pan or the previously used pot over high heat until browned. Remove from heat,  add mustard, Ceimayá Desert Honey: Kidneywood Blossom and freshly ground black pepper and mix gently to glaze evenly. Sauté for a few minutes over low heat, carefully stirring the sprouts to complete the glaze.
