Happy Father’s Day!

Treat dad to this delicious dessert!

 

 

Ingredients for four people:

250 ml (1cup) whole milk

250 ml (1 cup) heavy cream

100 ml  (3.5 oz) Desert Honey: Kidneywood Blossom

Vanilla

50 g (1.75 oz)  peeled walnuts

Steps:

In a saucepan combine milk, heavy cream, honey and vanilla and heat over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, remove from the heat and let the mixture cool either in the refrigerator (a couple of hours) or the freezer (30 min). If you have an ice cream maker machine, add the walnuts and follow your manufacturer’s instructions. Otherwise, freeze the mixture and stir it every so often, about every half an hour, until it has the right consistency. When the ice cream is almost firm, add the chopped walnuts, mix and finish freezing.
