We give this delicious and versatile snack -rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals- a new ‘twist’ with our authentic Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom. This dish makes a great pairing with our honey because it contrasts the flavors of hummus with sweet notes and deepens its spiciness.
Ingredients:
400 g of Chickpeas
2 Cloves of garlic
1/4 Cup of tahini
2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
1 Teaspoon of cumin
1/2 Teaspoon of salt
1/2 Teaspoon of pepper
Red flakes to taste
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
2 Tablespoons of water
Preparation
Blend the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, red flakes, salt and pepper, until smooth, While blending, steadily add the olive oil and then water until you achieve a creamy consistency. Serve in bowl and top of with the honey and drizzle with olive oil.
