Ingredients:

  • Chipotles
  • Ceimayá’s Desert Honey: Mezquite Blossom
  • Garlic and apple cider vinegar
  • Lemon and orange juice
  • Salt, pepper and olive oil

Preparation:

In a blender or food processor, place the chipotle chiles, Ceimayá’s Desert Honey: Mezquite Blossom, garlic cloves, orange juice, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. Blend all ingredients until smooth and homogeneous. Taste and adjust salt and pepper if necessary. With the blender running, slowly add the olive oil in a stream to emulsify the sauce and give it a smoother, glossier texture. Pour the sauce into a jar or container with a lid. You can use it immediately or store it in the refrigerator; it improves its flavor when it sits for a few hours.
