- 2/3 cup of nixtamalized corn flour

Dough:
- 400 g chopped figs (a few slices for the topping).
- 1 1/2 cups of nixtamalized corn flour
- 2/3 cups of Ceimayá’s Forest Honey: Orange Blossom
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 3/4 clarified butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
- 1 tsp orange blossom water
- 5 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Plastic babies
Preparation:
For the topping, mix the butter, Ceimayá’s Forest Honey: Orange Blossom and flour. Then, separate the mixture into two bowls, add a tablespoon of flour to one bowl and a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the other and mix. Then rest the mixtures in refrigeration. For the dough, put the Ceimayá’s Forest Honey: Orange Blossom with the butter in a mold and mix. Then add the eggs while whisking. We take the flour and add the cardamom, cinnamon, salt and baking soda and stir. We add the flour to the mixture little by little. At the end, add the orange blossom water, vanilla and the chopped figs. On the other hand, we grease with a brush the mold with a mixture of butter and corn flour. Pour the mixture into the mold and decorate with the figs and the topping mixtures. Sprinkle a little cinnamon. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes and let it cool for 15 minutes. Finally, transfer the doughnut to another container to serve.
