Ingredients:
- 75gr of butter
- 225gr of liquid cream
- 200gr of Ceimayá’s Desert Honey: Kidneywood Blossom
- 75 gr of white sugar
- 17 gr cocoa powder
- 1gr fine salt
- 275 gr dark chocolate
- 1 vanilla stick
- 200gr of strong flour
- 4 gr fine salt
- Yeast
Preparation:
We will first make the chocolate sauce, for this we have to mix in a pot the cocoa, the sugar, the cream, the butter, the vanilla pod and the Ceimayá’s Desert Honey: Kidneywood Blossom. We put it over medium heat and stir, when it starts to boil, we add the chocolate. Stir until it becomes a fluid chocolate sauce.
To make the dough, put the water in a bowl and start heating it. Meanwhile, in another bowl put the flour, yeast and salt. Once the water is boiling, add it to the bowl with the yeast and salt and stir until a dough is formed. Then we put the dough in a piping bag with a curly shape to form a churro shape. In a separate pot, heat oil and once it is boiling, put the dough forming the churros. Once the churros have a golden color, we take them out and put them on a piece of paper to remove the excess oil. Afterwards, dip the churros in the sugar and then put the chocolate and honey sauce on top, to taste.
