Time for something fresh!

Today’s recipe and blog features our beloved Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom, pairing it with a combination of ingredients that will please your palate and energize your mind and body. The floral, sweet and spicy flavor notes of the honey pair exquisitely with the smoked flavor of the roasted beets and sweet potato. The baby arugula compliments the honey’s slight spiciness and the pomegranate goes perfectly with its floral flavor. Its an explosion of flavor and will have you craving this salad quite often. Ingredientes:

1 Cup of arugula

1 Roasted beet cut in cubes

1/2 Cup of roasted sweet potato cut in cubes

1/4 Cup of feta cheese

1/4 Cup of pomegranate

 

For the dressing:

3 Tablespoon of olive oil

2 Tablespoon of balsamic vinegar

1 Tablespoon of Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom

A pinch of oregano

Preparation

Make the dressing by mixing the oil, vinegar, honey and oregano together. Then assemble all the ingredients in a bowl and mix.
