Our Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom is characterized by its intense flavor and floral aroma, which, when mixed with cod, makes a wonderful duo. This is a dish that’s easy to prepare yet it has surprising flavors.

Ingredients

4 fresh cod fillets
1 cup of flour
6 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of the Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom
2 finely chopped garlic
1 onion cut into julienne
2 tablespoons of raisins
1 tablespoon of pine nuts
1 tablespoon of paprika
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Coat the cod with flour and fry it in 4 tablespoons of olive oil until golden brown, then remove and reserve. In a frying pan, sauté the onion and garlic until they become transparent. Add the paprika, a tablespoon of flour, the honey, the raisins and the pine nuts and simmer for 10 minutes. After that time add the cod, salt and pepper to your liking and continue cooking for 5 more minutes. Enjoy it and tell us what you think.
